FINAL MINUTES Special Meeting Board of Directors Monterey Peninsula Water Management District December 27, 2004
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM in the District Conference room. Directors present: Alvin Edwards, Chair – Division 1 Larry Foy, Vice Chair – Division 5 Judi Lehman – Division 2 Kristi Markey – Division 3 Michelle Knight – Division 4 David Pendergrass – Mayoral Representative David Potter – Monterey County Board of Supervisors General Manager present: David A. Berger District Counsel present: David. C. Laredo The assembly recited the Pledge of Allegiance. No comments were directed to the Board during Oral Communications. On a motion by Director Foy and second by Director Potter, the Consent Calendar was approved unanimously on a vote of 7 – 0. Approved. Approved. Director Pendergrass offered a motion that was seconded by Director Knight to nominate Director Foy to the position of Chair. On a vote of 7 – 0, Director Foy was elected to the position of Chair. Director Potter offered a motion that was seconded by Director Edwards to nominate Director Markey to the position of Vice Chair. On a vote of 7 – 0, Director Markey was elected to the position of Vice Chair. Director Edwards offered a motion that was seconded by Director Potter to nominate General Manager David Berger to the position of Secretary to the Board. On a vote of 7 – 0, David Berger was elected to the position of Secretary to the Board. Director Markey offered a motion that was seconded by Director Lehman to nominate Rick Dickhaut to the position of Treasurer. On a vote of 7 – 0, Rick Dickhaut was elected to the position of Treasurer. The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 AM.	CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ORAL COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT CALENDAR 1.
