Recommendation: Rules & Regulations Committee reviewed the draft deed
restriction on November 12, 2002. Board
sub-committee reviewed deed restriction in November/December 2002 and approved
for use for Chartwell School.
SUMMARY: Attached as Exhibit 6-A is a draft deed restriction
template (Form 1-7) for temporary water permits issued pursuant to District
Rule 23-B, Temporary Expansion/Extension Permits. This draft deed restriction was reviewed and
approved by a Board sub-committee consisting of Directors Erickson and Lehman
in December 2002 and was used to issue a temporary permit to Chartwell School
in Seaside. In keeping with direction of
the Board in December 2001, all new deed restriction templates must be reviewed
by the Rules and Regulations Committee and finally approved by the Board prior
to use.
Deed
restrictions are routinely used by the District for enforcement of rules and
conditions and to notify current and future property owners of specific
conditions, violations or restrictions on a property.
RECOMMENDATION: By adopting this item with the Consent
Calendar, the Board will authorize the use of the attached deed restriction
template.
