SUMMARY: On
March 14, 2003, General Manager Ernesto A. Avila submitted his resignation to
the Board of Directors. At the May 19,
2003 meeting, the Board voted to contract with Shannon Executive Research (Shannon)
to conduct the recruitment of a new General Manager.
Kris Kristensen,
Executive Recruiter for Shannon, will make a presentation at the August 13,
2003 Board meeting and receive direction from the Board regarding a schedule of
activities, outreach campaign and candidate profile for the recruitment of the
General Manager. Documents related to
these decisions will be submitted at the Board meeting.
ACTION: Receive the report from Kris Kristensen and consider approval of a schedule of activities, outreach campaign, and candidate profile for the recruitment of the General Manager.
