SUMMARY: Pursuant to the 2004 Monterey County Grand Jury Report, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors requested the District respond to Findings 2 and 3 and Recommendations 5 and 8 of the report on the Rippling River Public Housing Facility. The Rippling River facility is located on Carmel Valley Road in Carmel Valley. A copy of the County’s request is attached as Exhibit 2-A.

Staff has prepared a response for the Board Chair to sign (Exhibit 2-B).

RECOMMENDATION: If adopted with the Consent Calendar, the Board Chair will be authorized to sign the response to the Grand Jury Report and the letter will be mailed.
