on measurements recorded in the upper
Water Supply Status: As shown, rainfall during WY 2005 has totaled 30.0 inches, which is 142% of the long-term average. Runoff during WY 2005 has totaled 110,910 acre-feet, which is 162% of average. Usable storage, which includes surface and ground water, was 29,260 acre-feet or 101% of average at the end of August. This storage equates to 78% of system capacity.
In addition, 328 adult steelhead were counted in the fish
ladder at San Clemente Dam in WY 2005, which is 64% of the recent average. Also, approximately 17,400 juvenile
steelhead have been rescued from drying reaches of the
