SUMMARY: At its November 21, 2005 meeting, the Board received an update on the proposed Agreement between the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District (MPWMD or District) and California American Water (Cal-Am) regarding management and operation of the Seaside Basin Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) facilities (see November 21, 2005 Board packet, Item 15). There is no new information to report on this item at this time. However, a meeting between the District’s and Cal-Am’s legal counsels and management staff has been scheduled for December 14 to further discuss the provisions of this Agreement. Therefore, additional information on this item will be presented at the Board’s January regular meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: No action is recommended or required at this time.
