Call To Order

The meeting was called to order at 10:05 AM.

No members of the public were in attendance.

 

Action Items

1.         Review Proposed Negative Declaration and First Reading of Ordinance 124 – Water Distribution System Regulation Amendment Ordinance (Rule 20-C)

            On a motion by Director Knight and second of Director Pendergrass, the committee approved the proposed negative declaration and draft Ordinance No. 124 with one modification.  Staff was directed to amend the last sentence in the definition of “Monitor Well” to specify that written permission will not be required if testing is done to determine water quality in accordance with generally accepted water quality testing protocols.  However, written consent from the District will be required for short-term emergency use of a monitor well.   The motion was unanimously approved on a vote of 3 – 0.   If Ordinance 124 is adopted by the Board, the District’s well registration form will be modified to reflect the amended language.
