Exhibit 24-A shows the
water supply status for the Monterey Peninsula Water Resources System (MPWRS)
as of May 1, 2007. This system includes
the surface water resources in the
Water Supply Status: As
shown, rainfall during WY 2007 to date has totaled 11.3 inches, which is
55% of the long-term average. Runoff
during WY 2007 to date has totaled 11,040 acre-feet (AF), which is 17%
of average. Usable storage, which
includes surface and ground water, was 31,550 AF or 96% of average at
the end of April. This storage equates
to 84% of system capacity. In addition,
222 adult steelhead were counted in the fish ladder at San Clemente Dam in
WY 2007 through April 3, 2007. No
juvenile steelhead have been rescued from drying reaches of the

Under State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Order No. WR 95-10,
California American Water (CAW) is allowed to produce no more than 11,285 AF of
water from the
