A shown in the table, the low bidder for purchase and installation of the
window was DMC Construction, Inc. with a bid of $12,006. This bid amount, plus costs for architectural
services, permitting, other miscellaneous fees and a ten percent contingency brings
the total cost of the project to approximately $16,700.
RECOMMENDATION: District staff recommends that the Board
authorize the General Manager to expend budgeted funds of $16,700 to install a
window in the Accountant’s office in the District’s office building at
