Exhibit 25-A shows the
water supply status for the Monterey Peninsula Water Resources System (MPWRS)
as of November 1, 2007. This system
includes the surface water resources in the
Water Supply Status: As shown, rainfall during WY 2008 to date has totaled 0.57 inches, which is 78% of the long-term average. Runoff during WY 2008 to date has totaled 245 acre-feet (AF), which is 70% of average. Usable storage, which includes surface and groundwater, was 25,140 AF or 92% of average at the end of October. This storage equates to 67% of system capacity. In addition, no adult steelhead have been counted in the fish ladder at San Clemente Dam and no juvenile steelhead have been rescued from drying reaches of the Carmel River mainstem by District staff in WY 2008 to date.
Production Compliance:
Under State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Order No. WR 95-10,
California American Water (CAW) is allowed to produce 11,285 AF of water from
