SUMMARY: District
employees are presented awards for length of service at 5, 10, 15 and 20 year
intervals. Employees who reach a
longevity milestone are recognized at monthly staff meetings, when the General
Manager presents the employee with a plaque and an engraved pen. The last time the Board of Directors
acknowledged staff for length of service to the District was in October
2005. Since then, 14 employees have achieved
5, 10, 15 or 20 years of service. These
employees are listed below, and have been invited to attend the Board meeting.

RECOMMENDATION: The Board congratulate District staff that have
completed 5, 10, 15 or 20 years of service to the District in 2006, 2007 and
2008, and recognize them for their long-term commitment to the goals of the
District.
