of MPWMD’s 8.325% user fee collected on California
American Water bills to fund Aquifer Storage and Recovery facilities and related
water supply projects. The project is
needed to provide sufficient water for present or future beneficial use, and to
protect MPWMD water resources. Beneficiaries
are rate-payers and tax-payers within the MPWMD.
