Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 9:35 AM in the District conference room.

Action Items
1. Receive Minutes of November 12, 2009Committee Meeting
On a motion by Director
Pendergrass and second of Director Markey, the minutes were received
unanimously, on a vote of 3 – 0.
2. Review
Final Draft Text for MPWMD Newsletter
The committee reviewed the text and suggested revisions.
3. Consider
Development of Facebook Page
The committee members agreed that staff should commence development of a Facebook page. The focus should be on one-way communication from the District to the public. It should not become a question and answer forum.
Discussion Items
4. Discuss
Suggestion by Director Lehman to Schedule Public Viewing of the Film Blue Gold
The committee members agreed that it would be inappropriate for a public agency such as the District to sponsor the film due to the political nature of the content, and the cost to procure it. The committee suggested that it would be more appropriate for a community group to sponsor the film.
5. Schedule January 2010 Committee Meeting Date
The meeting was set for Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9 AM.
