A Resolution of the Board of Directors

of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District

To Apply for Fisheries Restoration Grant Program Funding and Authorize the General Manager to Enter into Contracts with the California Department of Fish and Game

Resolved by the Board of Directors of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District, that application be made to the California Department of Fish and Game to obtain Fisheries Restoration Grant Program funds for projects that restore, enhance, or protect the anadromous salmonid habitat in the Carmel River or projects that lead to restoration, enhancement, or protection of the anadromous salmonid habitat. The General Manager of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District is hereby authorized and directed to prepare the necessary data, conduct investigations, file such applications, and enter into an agreement to receive a grant for such Projects and to execute a grant agreement with California Department of Fish and Game.
