EXHIBIT 10-A

 

EXTENSION AGREEMENT FOR ASSISTANCE IN IMPLEMENTING

A COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM

 

            THIS AGREEMENT EXTENSION (the “extension”) is made and entered into this ___ day of _________, 2010, by and between the MONTEREY REGIONAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY, hereinafter referred to as “AGENCY”, and the MONTEREY PENINSULA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as “DISTRICT”, and as follows:

 

            WHEREAS, the DISTRICT AND THE AGENCY entered in a professional services agreement (the Agreement”) under which the AGENCY agreed to provide services to assist in a community outreach program; and

 

            WHEREAS, the agreement expired on June 30, 2010 and the parties desire to extend the Agreement until June 30, 2011 on the same terms and conditions as provided therein.

 

            NOW THEREFORE, in mutual consideration of the following and of the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement, the Parties agree as follows:

  1. Extended Term. The term of the agreement shall be extended, pursuant to section 3 of the Agreement, until June 30, 2011.
  2. Compensation. For the services to be performed under this Extension, DISTRICT shall compensate AGENCY at the hourly rate as described in the attached Exhibit A for FY 10/11.
  3. Terms. The terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect as if entirely set for the herein.

 

 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, AGENCY and the DISTRICT each by its duly authorized representatives have executed this Agreement on the date first hereinabove set forth at Monterey, California.
