SUMMARY: The District’s Administrative Services
Manager/Chief Financial Officer (CFO),
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize a limited-term contract with the current Chief Financial Officer for up to 960 hours of work at $61.72 per hour. The term of the contract would begin January 3, 2011 and not exceed June 30, 2011.
IMPACTS TO STAFF/RESOURCES: The FY 2010-2011 budget includes $83,054 for the Administrative Services Manager/Chief Financial Officer position from January through June 2011. Limited-term employees receive an hourly salary, but no benefits other than the mandated Social Security, Medicare, and Workers Compensation coverage. Cost for the 960 maximum hours would not exceed $64,071. This would include $59,251 for salary and $4,820 for mandated benefits.
