SUMMARY: The District’s draft response to the findings and recommendations regarding the “Monterey County Regional Water Project” section in the 2010 Monterey County Grand Jury Final Report is included as Exhibit 1-A. The complete 2010 Monterey County Grand Jury Final Report was issued on January 10, 2011, and is available at:
The District is required to respond to specific findings and recommendations within 90 days of report issuance, i.e., April 9, 2011.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Board approve the response letter to the 2010 Monterey County Grand Jury Report and direct the General Manager to file the approved response with the Presiding Judge of the Monterey County Superior Court by April 9, 2011.
