Exhibit 22-A shows the
water supply status for the Monterey Peninsula Water Resources System (MPWRS)
as of April 1, 2012. This system includes the surface water
resources in the
Water Supply Status: As
shown, rainfall during March 2012 totaled
3.94 inches and brings
the cumulative rainfall total for WY 2012 to 11.42 inches, which is 60%
of the long-term average through March. Estimated unimpaired runoff during March 2012 totaled 3,840 acre-feet
(AF) and brings the cumulative runoff total for WY 2012 to 11,235 AF, which is 21% of
the long-term average through March. Usable storage, which includes surface and
groundwater, was 31,060 AF,
or 96% of the long-term average through
March. This storage equates to 82% of system capacity. In
addition, 428 adult steelhead were counted
in the fish ladder at San Clemente Dam for WY 2012 through March.
Production Compliance: Under
State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Cease and Desist Order No. 2009-0060,
California American Water (Cal-Am) is allowed to produce no more than 10,308 AF
of water from the
