SUMMARY: The
Water Demand Manager position warrants a reclassification for two reasons: (a)
the compensation for the position does not appear to be commensurate with the three
other Division management positions, for similar duties and responsibilities,
and (b) the Water Demand Manager has been asked to accept additional duties, as
identified below under “Discussion.” The
position would be moved from Range 38M, Step E to Range 43, Step D.
RECOMMENDATION: The General
Manager recommends that the Board approve this reclassification.
DISCUSSION: The
following functions were added to the Water Demand Manager position description
in FY2014:
