Alternative Desalination Project: General Manager will provide oral report.

Local Water Projects: The District is developing grant agreement documents for use with Pacific Grove and the Airport. On October 15^th Joe Oliver met with representatives of the Airport and the US Army Corp of Engineers to discuss repurposing versus destroying wells. It is expected that an RFP for a preliminary study of the Airport wells will be developed soon.

MPWSP Governance Committee: The MPWSP Governance Committee did not meet this month.

Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority: The Authority held one meeting since the District Board’s last meeting. The agenda is included as Exhibit 8-A. Details can be found at the following link:
