SUMMARY:
Attached as Exhibit 2-A is a
proposed Board meeting schedule for the months of January 2017 through February
2018. Dates that are not set for the third Monday
of each month are listed below.
·
The
regular Board meeting in January 2017 is set for the fourth Wednesday of the
month due to a conflict with the Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday holiday.
·
The
February 2017 meeting is set for the fourth Wednesday due to a conflict with
the Presidents’ Day holiday.
·
The
November 2017 meeting is set for the second Monday due to a conflict with the
Thanksgiving holiday.
The Board meetings will be
conducted in the District’s conference room unless there is a need to meet in another
location. Changes to a meeting time or
location will be noticed on the meeting agenda and the Water Management
District website.
RECOMMENDATION:
Review and adopt the 2017 MPWMD Board meeting schedule.
BACKGROUND: The
meeting dates were selected in coordination with the Monterey Regional Water
Pollution Control Agency to insure that our meeting dates do not conflict with
their Board’s meeting schedule.
