SUMMARY: Resolution 2020-14 Exhibit 2-A
updates Rule 60, Fees and Charges Table, to reflect actual expenses incurred by
the District to process requests for water from the District Reserve
Allocation and to show the removal of a fee for
extension of a documented Water Use Credit. The fees and charges are intended
to have a positive correlation to the actual time, effort, and cost of
providing the services and taking the actions set forth in the Fees and Charges
Table.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administrative Committee recommends that the Board adopt Resolution 2020-14, A Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District Amending Rule 60, Fees and Charges Table. This item will be approved if adopted along with the Consent Calendar.
BACKGROUND: Ordinance No. 120,
adopted March 21, 2005, allows changes to the Fees and Charges Table by
resolution rather than by ordinance. The
Fees and Charges Table was last updated on June 15, 2020, by adoption of Resolution
2020-08.
