SUMMARY:
This item was first submitted to the Board of Directors for approval on
April 19, 2010. No action was taken, and
the issue was referred to the Legislative Committee.
The Safe, Clean and Reliable Drinking
Water Supply Act of 2010 is an $11.14 billion state-wide general obligation
bond measure set for the November 2010 ballot.
Attached as Exhibit 1-A is Resolution No. 2010-05 expressing support
for the ballot measure. If approved by the
voters, the measure would provide funding for
RECOMMENDATION:
The Committee should review the draft resolution expressing support for
the Safe, Clean and Reliable Drinking Water Supply Act of 2010 and related
information and provide direction to staff regarding whether or not the
resolution should be considered by the Board.
