SUMMARY: This item relates to a resolution that needs to be passed in order for the District to participate in an upcoming bond financing pool to borrow funds to pay for completion of the Phase 1 Aquifer Storage & Recovery Project. Staff had anticipated that this item would be on the July Administrative Committee and Board agendas, however, yesterday it was determined the resolution needed to be adopted in June due to timing issues related to the bond sale date. At the May 30, 2007 Chair/Vice Chair meeting, they agreed to move this item to the June agendas.
District staff is having a meeting with the underwriter and bond counsel for the bond issuance on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 to gather additional information and updated numbers. After that meeting, additional information will be prepared for presentation at the June 7, 2007 Administrative Committee meeting.
