AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO

AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

DAVID J. STOLDT

 

SUPPLEMENTARY SCOPE OF SERVICES

 

 

The Consultant shall provide analysis and support for supplementary items for CPUC A.04-09-019 Phase 2, as directed by the District and related to completion of the Reply Brief stage due July 16th and a summary of key issues memorandum related to the “debt equivalence” issue.  Such supplementary activities shall include:

 

Task 1:  Read and review seven written concurrent Opening Briefs submitted to CPUC July 2, 2010 (MCWD, MCWRA, Cal-Am, DRA, MPWMD, Cities, and Public Trust Alliance);  Identify key topics and/or possible reply comments;  Approximately 408 pages.  Estimated time 5 hours

 

Task 2:  Written Summary of key topics and/or possible reply comments. Estimated time 3-4 hours

 

Task 3:  Conference call with District July 9, 2010.  Estimated time 1-2 hours

 

Task 4:  Summarize key issues related to “debt equivalence” in a written Memorandum, including summarizing statements in testimony to date (mine and Cal-Am’s), provide reference material, and research proposed accounting standards revisions discussed by Cal-Am during rebuttal testimony.  Estimated time 12-20 hours

 

Task 5:  Miscellaneous emails, phone conversations, etc where needed.  Estimated time 2-3 hours

 

 

CONSULTANT FEE SCHEDULE

 

The Consultant shall be compensated $100 per hour for professional services provided under the Scope of Services.  Out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. travel, meals, materials, etc.) shall be reimbursed at cost, without mark-up.

 

The estimated total time for the supplementary activities is 23-34 hours, resulting in total fees of $2,300 to $3,400.
