SUMMARY: Attached as Exhibit 4-A is the Final Draft Report from the Community Advisory Committee to the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District Board of Directors. A subcommittee comprised of Janet Brennan, Manuel Fierro, Peter Dausen, Ron Chesshire and Bob McKenzie met on July 26 and August 14, 2007 to develop the report. The subcommittee authored the Executive Summary, and District staff prepared all other sections of the report consistent with the format approved by the committee on its June 25, 2007. Individual committee members should review and comment on the Final Draft Report at this meeting. This will be the last opportunity to identify any additional merits and drawbacks on each of the seven projects they may wish to have incorporated into the Final Report that will be submitted to the committee for approval on September 11, 2007. The Final Report is scheduled for receipt by the MPWMD Board of Directors on September 17, 2007.

RECOMMENDATION: The CAC should review the Final Draft Report and provide comments that the committee will consider for incorporation into the Final Report.
