2.	Review and Consider Adoption of Charge for Policy Advisory Committee

SUMMARY: At the September 8, 2005 Board Strategic Planning Session, the Board requested each committee review or create a committee “charge.” Attached as Exhibit 2-A is a draft charge for the Policy Advisory Committee. The Technical Advisory Committee reviewed the charge at its November 1, 2005 meeting. Exhibit 2-A has been amended since then to conform to the format for all District committee charges. The amendments are shown in italic and strike-out text.

RECOMMENDATION: The committee should discuss the draft PAC charge. The PAC may edit the document and/or make recommendations for Board consideration at the December 12, 2005 meeting.
