SUMMARY: At the September 8, 2005 Board Strategic Planning Session, the Board requested each committee review or create a committee “charge.” Attached as Exhibit 3-A is the draft charge reviewed by the Technical Advisory Committee on November 1, 2005. Exhibit 3-A has been amended to conform to the format for all District committees. Amendments are shown in italics and strikeout text. The TAC should take final action on the charge at the December 6 meeting.

RECOMMENDATION: The committee should discuss the draft TAC charge. The TAC may edit the document and/or make recommendations for Board consideration at the December 12, 2005 meeting.
