Discuss Strategy for Developing a More Respectful, Effective Relationship with California American Water Company

Action:  Committee members, District staff and Cal-Am representatives will identify and discuss potential steps that could be taken toward building a more effective and respectful working relationship between the two entities.  Steve Leonard, Vice President/Manager of Cal-Am’s Monterey Division is expected to attend.  This objective is part of a broader, three-year goal in the Board’s 2006-7 Strategic Plan that seeks to improve the District’s working relationship with Cal-Am, the Seaside Groundwater Basin Watermaster, and the land use enties in the MPWMD area, i.e. cities, airport district and county government.
