SUMMARY: It has been suggested that the District publish advertisements to publicize the August 25, 2011 Board workshop on alternative water supply planning. At the August 11, 2011 committee meeting, staff will present the cost for placement of newspaper and web advertisements so that the committee can decide if a budget should be set for publicizing the workshop.
RECOMMENDATION: The Committee should receive the information that will be provided at the committee meeting, and provide direction to staff on publicizing the August 25, 2011 Board workshop.
