SUMMARY: MPWMD is sponsoring two American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association courses. The first is a two-day accreditation course geared for industry professionals. The two-day course will take place Feb. 24-25 at the Oldemeyer Center in Seaside. The second course is a free public workshop on Feb. 26 at the Monterey Youth Center. The public workshop is a four-hour introduction to rainwater harvesting concepts and practices.
ARCSA is advertising the courses through its website and contacts in the industry. The District has advertised the courses on its website, Facebook page, newsletter and the joint conservation website with Cal-Am. In addition, flyers have been posted in the District lobby and handed out to community groups such as Sustainable Seaside and Sustainable Pacific Grove.
RECOMMENDATION: None.
