Action Items

1. Receive Minutes of March 7, 2006 Technical Advisory Committee

On a motion by Mr. Conroy and second by Mr. Mulholland, the minutes were received unanimously.

Discussion Items

2. Discuss Development of Recommendation Regarding a District-Wide Definition of Affordable Housing for Water Connection Charge

Stephanie Pintar, Water Demand Manager, reviewed the item and responded to questions from the committee members. The committee members agreed to submit to the District, by June 23, 2006, copies of ordinances or other documents that codify their affordable housing definitions and eligibility requirements. The information will be accompanied by a cover memo listing the documents provided, or will include an explanation if the definitions could not be produced. There was consensus among the committee members that the District’s regulations should recognize each jurisdiction’s affordable housing definitions.

Comments by Technical Advisory Committee Members

On a motion by Mr. Rick and second by Mr. Conroy, the July 11, 2006 TAC meeting was cancelled on a unanimous vote of 6 – 0.
