SUMMARY:  On July 27, 2009, the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) issued a draft cease and desist order regarding the Carmel River.  A copy of the draft decision is attached as Exhibit 3-A.  A hearing to receive comments on this draft decision has been tentatively set for September 2, 2009 in Sacramento.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) should review and discuss the draft decision on the Cease and Desist Order.
