SUMMARY: A meeting was conducted on August 21, 2013 with Bruce Baracco from Baracco and Associates and Robert Shibatani of the Shibatani Group, Inc. to discuss a strategy to increase surface storage at Los Padres Dam. Also present at the meeting from the District were Jeanne Byrne, Robert Brower, David Stoldt and Larry Hampson. Following the meeting, the Shibatani Group submitted to the District a scope of work for new surface water storage options (Exhibit 7-A) and a scope of work for preparation of a tactical plan for Los Padres Dam and Reservoir acquisition (Exhibit 7-B). The Committee members should review the two scopes of work and be prepared to discuss them.
