SUMMARY: At its meeting in September 2013, the Water Supply Planning Committee reviewed two proposals for services by the Shibatani Group related to storage and the Los Padres Dam. The Committee instructed staff to revise the scope of services to reflect a long-term strategic plan for Los Padres Dam. The attached revised scope was forwarded to Robert Shibatani on October 1 (Exhibit 2-A). The District Engineer and Mr. Shibatani were to talk and further revise the scope, fee estimate, and timeline prior to the scheduled October 9, 2013 Committee meeting. Such revisions will be reported at the time of the meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: The Committee should consider a recommendation to the Board for the expenditure of funds for consulting services related to a long-term strategic plan for Los Padres Dam.
