The Future of Water is Here!
As part of the Monterey Peninsula Water Supply Project, Pure Water Monterey will provide over 3500 acre-feet of highly purified potable water for use by the residents and business of the Monterey Peninsula. Additionally, it will provide up to 5000 acre-feet of tertiary treated water for use by the Salinas Valley agricultural industry. A truly regional solution for a regional problem, Pure Water Monterey is the future of water.
Drought Updates
California is entering into the 4th year of a historic drought and although the winter rains will bring some relief, it is important to understand how we can continue to save water. It will take three years of above average rainfall to return our water levels to appropriate levels.
