SUMMARY: District staff was directed to develop standard language for Requests for Proposals (RFP) prepared by District staff. Included as Exhibit 2-A is a draft for Board consideration. While many of the sections of each RFP issued will need to be modified based on the specific consulting services being requested, Section X, Additional Questions, was specifically developed in response to concerns expressed by several Board members. The Administrative Committee reviewed the draft RFP on April 14, 2003, suggested several changes and voted 3-0 to recommend approval of the draft after incorporation of those changes.

RECOMMENDATION: The Board should review the draft and provide direction to District staff on how to proceed.
