SUMMARY: On November 17, 2008, the Board of Directors authorized creation of an ad hoc committee to develop a joint memorandum of understanding on water supply development with the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency (MRWPCA). The committee met on December 9, 2008, reviewed a draft charge, and requested that it be revised. The revised Draft Charge to the MPWMD Ad Hoc Water Supply Planning Committee is attached for committee review as Exhibit 3-A.

RECOMMENDATION: The committee should review the Draft Charge, amend it if necessary, and recommend that the Board adopt the charge at its January 29, 2009 meeting.
