Receive Minutes of the August 5, 2008 Meeting of the Technical Advisory CommitteeAction: The committee will review and receive the
minutes. |

Action:
The committee will review and develop a
recommendation to the Board of Directors on adoption of a written policy regarding use of more than one source of
supply on a property, that is, water served by California American Water
(CAW) and water served by a non-CAW source such as a well, onsite cistern or
other source. The policy addresses three potential settings involving
potable and non-potable water use.

Discuss Coordination with Monterey County and Cities in the District Regarding Establishment of Regulations Allowing Greywater, Rainwater and Recycled Water Systems to Encourage Household, Business and City Water Catchment, Storage and Reuse The committee will initiate the discussion
regarding what laws and regulations should be changed to facilitate greywater
use. |
